This cute girl had a cabin in the snow! Talk about a good time.

This is my and cassidy getting 3 feet of air.

We got a LOAD of snacks, Neds subs to go, and hit the road for 2 hours to drive up to the snow! It was cold, but not Utah cold! There was a fire, sleds, snowball fights, the works. We had a HUGEEEE group. like 40 people there. MASSIVE. We took cute pictures.videos, and had a fun time playing hellen Keller!

1. FIRST OFF. look how cute we are... i mean seriously.

2. She is outgoing. just "ASK ME" rofl. she knows how to have a good time.

3. We have been friends since i moved here. She is such a blessing in my life and has been since day 1!

4. She alwayssss invites me to do fun things with her. She loves to include me and i love that!

5. She has great fashion sense. Checkk it outt

6. We go to dances together <3 mostly so we can take cute pictures... (see below)

7. She has an odd obsession with cups and ice and water. i love her healthyness.

8. She is so pretty. Honestly...

9. She and paige are such good friends... They love me and show it.

10. She always compliments others. No one can hate Mackenzie

11. Mack is TORO tough. This girl really loves her school and she SHOWS it.

12. She knows when to be serious, and when to not be. She doesnt speak bad of others, and she is a great example to me.

13. She's just cute! how could you not be friends with this!

14. She always remembers my birthday, and stuff that is important to me. She is caring.

15. She doesn't care what others think of her. She has her standards, and she keeeps them.

16. We did stapley basketball... this girl is athletic to the mooon and backkk.

17. She is a friend to everyone. She is fun, and such a good dancer!

18. She always cheers me up, and she will always go to the temple, or go out to eat with me!

This girl is studious, and works her butt off!

She doesn't like animals that much.. like me!

We go on many dates together... like this one! these twins really like us and we hang out all the time.

Most importantly. this girl has my back. no matter what. we have never fought, never argued, and THAT is one heck of a friend. HappY Birthday MACK

So i got a little behind on what im thankful for.. so what? im thankful for lots of things! My parents went to Hawaii this last week. SOOOO. Molly and Todd, Grandma and Grandpa, and Lizzie all came over! we had a good time. Molly and i got food, took a few drives, played JUST DANCE 3 and the usual junk.

Thursday Ashlyn C., Cassidy B., and i went to the new Twilight movie... DONT SEE IT. gross, cheezy and TOTALLY not worth it. But hey, it was fun anyways! countdown to Hunger Games anyone?

Friday, My bestie Matthew Chad had a rockin dance party. ANNNND Cassidy and i partied hard all night long. literally.

Saturday came along and after a day with the family and Grandma and Gramps, I went on a date with Austin Turley! I met Austin sophomore year and we were friends instantly! He is such a great guy and i totally had a blast. Anddddd the best part... MADELEINE WAS THERE. i love that girl.

November 13 is a wonderful day. Why? Because its CASSIDY BROWN'S BIRTHDAY! (and Dallin Gherks) But anyways. Cassidy and i have become the bestest of friends this year. 18 reasons why i love her....
1. She thinks of me when she is away, A true friend indeed.

2. We are ALWAYS together. Lunch, weekends, dates, the usual. and i dont get annoyed. Yeah shes special.

3. She always goes to the temple with me. Even though we always miss walk ins, we still go a ton. A righteous friend is a good friend. Shes also Laurel President and Seminary President. BIG DEAL.

4. She's my twin. Literally...

5. Cassidy comes from a great family. Getting along with her family helps me love and appreciate her more! i love the Browns.

6. Cassidy love my family! i like friends that are nice to my family. so Cass i like you.

7. Cass ALWAYS will go get food with me. Even if she doesn't appreciate some places like i do...

8. i like Cassidy because She takes me to IHOP at midnight for my birthday. She is so thoughtful.

9. Cassidy is.. well she's flexible. Whether it be showing off her cheer moves or putting her leg on the counter, Cassidy is flexible.

10. We are just cute friends! We have never been in a fight, or anything close. We get along so well and we always have a good time together!

11. i love Cassidy because she is GORGEOUS. I mean look at her. How cute is she?!

12. i love Cassidy because she makes funny jokes. Shes a funny girl.

13. She does crazy things with me, like lay on the elevator floor. dont ask....

14. Cassidy is real good with Boys. She knows how to work it. even at 1 o clock in the morning!

15. Cassidy really knows how to work the smoky eye and have a good time. She has confidence, and is happy and it rubs off on me!

16.She is always making yummy treats and is always willing to have a girl night! Her husband will be a fat very lucky man.

17. Student council brought us together. Im SOOOO beyond greatful for the chance i had to meet her and become such awesome pals.

18. Mostly i just love Cassidy because she completes me. Seriously i dont know what my life would be like without her! Shes put into my life for a reason and im so thankful she was! love you Sassy!

Once upon a time....

I went to Tempe town lake for a video scavenger hunt! It was the winter formal day activity, but im not going to Winter formal! hah good thing i found a group that would let me join the date :) i took my good friend Michael Brimhall. GOOD CHOICE. He was SUCH a fun date, and had a good attitude, even wearing an ugly sweater. We had dinner at smash burger. First time going there, and i loved it. SO GOOD. they even had friend pickles. HELLO YUMMY. After that we rode the light rail back to Mesa and had treats and watched Tangled to celebrate 11/11/11 at 11:11!

today im greatful i have a calling! I teach the 8-9 year olds and yesterday was my first time teaching! The kids were a little rowdy, but im learning patience! which is good for me... Best part of the day: One little girl asked to go to the bathroom, so i said she could go if she went quickly. She was gone for like ten minutes so i went to get her and i was like "why did you take so long?!" she replied with a straight face: "chocolate makes me have to go poop". Great.... no more brownies for my class. ps thank you Cassidy for coming to help.

Today im greatful for temple marriages...

Tonight Cassidy was kind enough to invite me to a wedding reception for a girl in her ward. It was BEAUTIFUL. The food was to die for, the pictures and wedding video were ADORABLE, and the bride was so pretty. The couple looked SO HAPPY, and i totally felt the spirit watching them. There's no other place to be married! Plain and simple.

This week is TEMPLE WEEK. HOORAY. SO, being the lovely people we are, Cassidy and I went to visit the temple! too bad it was under construction so the pictures have orange cones everywhere... but oh well! Definitely one of my favorite dances out of the 9 Ive been to.... yeah it was that great! After the ask, and the fun day activity at fossil springs... (flat tire, pulled over, broken toe, drunk guy at KFC, zoolander) came the real deal... the DANCE. After my meet, i came home to catch up on sleep! Woke up, went to PEI WEI with Stevie and Brandon, Went to see Courtney, got my hair did and waited for Prince Mark! We took a few pics...

After a delicious chicken dinner at Nicks, we went to the dance, said hello to people, and then headed off to the HYATT hotel in Scottsdale to... SWIM! it was way fun and the perfect activity to end the night! Mark was the PERFECT date and i was lucky to go with someone as great as him! Winter Formal... you have some tough competition.

Wednesday July 27 , 2011 Blake William Cowan left for the MTC to serve a mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina. and today i got my first LETTER from him! i am MORE than excited.

Blake has been the ideal friend since the day we met.

He was always there for me the second i needed him.
He was never afraid to be 100% honest with me.

He has the most CONTAGIOUS laugh ever.
He is a REMARKABLE runner.
He is SO patient. and EXTREMELY nice.

He loves the church.

He loves his family and friends.

He respects others.
He does what is right.

He always listens and has good advice.
He is the definition of a true friend.
The people in Argentina are lucky to have someone as great as Blake teach them the gospel. I can't wait to see him in two years.

Trek was... something else. i did hard things, i strengthened relationships with Chase and other close friends, i hiked 16.5 miles, i gained a better testimony, i learned to appreciate the pioneers, i learned to love nature more, i was taught life lessons, and most importantly, i became a better Ally. I loved the trek, but i think i love my bed and plumbing and ice cream a LOT more.

This year was something else.
i joined Student council, and i made some of the best friends ive ever had.

I turned seventeen.

I went to four dances...

i went on dates...

i went on a few vacations...

I spent time at track meets and watched my best friend win state...

i developed better relationships..

and i met this boy who has changed my life...

my junior year in high school was hard, it had its ups, and it DEFINITELY had its downs. But, looking back. i would not trade it for the world.

Lately i have really come to love and appreciate this great prophet. He shared so many thoughts and testimonies that have really impacted my life.

"Get a notebook, a journal that will last through all time and maybe the angels may quote form it for eternity. Begin today and write in it your goings and comings, your deepest thoughts, your achievements, and your failures, your associations, your triumphs, your impressions, and most importantly, your testimonies. "

i know that my life has been blessed for writing down my thoughts and feelings in a journal. Im grateful for prophets who listen to their promptings from the spirit, and are able to benefit the members of the church in doing so.

Nothing beats having school off in the middle of the week. let me tell you, it was AMAZING.

On this day of great pleasure my friend Dallin and I headed out bright and early to get our food handlers permit cards. That was a great time. Afterwards we headed to BAGEL NOSH for an always satisfying meal. Next came water kickball in Center Court. It seriously felt like a summer day, and i soaked up every minute of it. After kickball we went to IN-N-OUT. and had a dance party in the car. MANNN OH MANN-It was a marvelous afternoon!

In seminary, this week is all about missions, missionaries, and how to prepare to serve a mission. This is a topic that is recently becoming very sensitive to me knowing that the majority of my friends will be leaving in about a year. I love missionaries and am so grateful for them!

Sundays are the best. Always. But this particular Sunday was even better than usual. Because i had to wake up at 6 am? no.. Because i walked around in the cold all morning? no... Because my testimony was strengthened and i felt the spirit so strong? yes.
There is this cute place for handicap people about an hour away my ward was assigned to help with today. After arriving, someone is there to introduce everyone, and assign the youth to different patients in need of help. After picking up Tony, we took her to the main room where everyone had gathered with their newly found friends. Some would sing, some would hum, some would try to scare you, and others just looked at you. While sitting there, i began to think how sad it was that they had to live life in such a way, but then i realized they are the ones with a golden ticket to the celestial kingdom. Heavenly Father loves all of his children the exact same, and i know he was pleased watching such a great group of youth serving those who are in need of it the most.

So between thanksgiving, seminary, church, young women's, temple lights and Christmas, i really am starting to be grateful for a myriad of things. The older i get, the more i notice things to be thankful for. I love this time of year when i have the chance to use all the blessing and talents i have to serve someone in need. I'm thankful..
1. for the gospel in my life. I cant imagine living without the guidance it brings me in my everyday life.
2. For my family and all they give and teach me. I cant imagine living life with a family other than my own.
3. For school and the blessing it is to learn, even though i TOTALLY hate it most of the time.
4. Friends and the impacts they have on my life.
5. Seminary and my teacher for strengthening my testimony more and more each day.
6. The temple and the spirit felt there.

Note to self.
Be grateful. Serve with a smile. Be happy, its the holidays.
